On February 15, 2006 my son and I drove to Sandpoint, Idaho and using our Warren MIller coupon skied at Schweitzer on February 16, 2009 then headed to Whitefish Montana to ski at Big Mountain.

On February 17, 2006, the temperature at Whitefish was minus 22. Fortunately there was no wind. And no people! I thought that I would be able to ski without a face mask, a belief dispelled after skiing 5 feet. Christian in front of the mountains of Glacier National Park on the horizon.

February 18 was warmer, up into positive single digits. Skiing with the snow ghosts.
